Support from the Network
The Group requested support from the Network to improve the current halocarbon workplaces in terms of ergonomics, efficiency and effectiveness and to integrate these learnings into the expansion of a new plant planned to begin in 2023.
One of our experts in Lean Manufacturing accompanied the production team between 1 September and 15 October. Quickly, changes in the process flow for halocarbon devices and components to be processed were made. Staff movement was minimized, safe handling was facilitated and double handling was eliminated, freeing up a significant work surface and improving productivity. Naturally, these improvements were made with the cooperation of the staff involved and to the satisfaction of the management who benefited from a transfer of knowledge, in the field of continuous improvement and ergonomics, which will be used during the plant expansion..
